This collection of photos started in 2004, when life just seemed to be rapidly running past and I wanted to capture it before it slipped away. The project started as "a slice of life". Images taken from my work in consulting, of places I have traveled and of my family and friends over the past year. It was my way of capturing life that seems to run like water out of a tap at times... It was my way of holding tight to the joy! Looking back to “SLICE" a year in consulting 1, 2 & 3, it feels very far away. It was the end of 2005, I was a red head (what was I thinking?!) Now I am blonde and Marilyn was right, they do have more fun! Some things have changed, most not. My slicing halted for a while, not sure why. The end of an era maybe, with work changes... and my Vaio, with built in camera, broken. So the project has picked up slowly, and you will find some new faces in "more slicing". I look forwward to snapping up life and slicing it up more of these moments in 2009! best wishes
